My name is Kristine and I have had the pleasure of calling Victoria home since my family and I moved over from the United States in 2018. I have a colourful background and a diverse passion for both children and nature. My career journey began with a degree in Wildlife Biology, which quickly evolved into 20 rewarding years as an environmental educator. As the mother of two, aged 11 and 13, I understand how crucial it is for children to have a stimulating environment that promotes their growth and development. I have substantial experience caring for children aged from 3 years through to teenagers, and I am more than comfortable caring for up to four children or more. In my role as a nanny, I am skilled in providing a range of activities - from homework assistance to arranging fun-filled events. In addition, I can accommodate any special dietary requirements and am also experienced in keeping the home tidy, running errands, cooking meals, and even caring for the household pet! A considerate and reliable hand, I am also comfortable with light housekeeping and laundry tasks. I am proud of my ability to work with children who have specific needs. I have experiences with children with ADHD, anxiety, Autism, Tourette's, and those with Developmental Delays. Committed to child safety, I am first aid trained and always ensure a secure and engaging environment for children to explore and grow. I am comfortable with both Nanny and Nanny/Housekeeper roles and can provide live-out services on a part-time basis. I am fairly flexible with scheduling, generally available from mid-day through evenings on all days of the week, including nights on Fridays and Saturdays.
