I am a 54 year old compassionate woman who has years of experience working with children and families. I currently I’ve on my own with my two beloved labs Peggins and Pudge. My interests range from hikes in the forests to exploring the ocean’s shores of our city with my dogs. I am a lover of nature, art, creativity, helping others and gardening. I also love to engage in new activities that allow me to learn new skills. One of my biggest passions is art and creating beauty out of natural materials in our environment. I love taking kids out to explore the world around them and then creating an art piece at home to enhance the connection we have with our environments. I love to cook and plan fun activities. Love schedules and working from both a schedule and spontaneity. I can be silly during play and I can communicate clear boundaries with effective communication when needed as well. Most people would say I’m loving, compassionate, heart-felt, sincere, honest, reliable, trustworthy, fun, relatable, communicative, loyal and respectful. All the kids I’ve worked with have always wanted me back!

Worked as a nanny for many families as I went through university. Started childminding at the age of 11. Too care of several children throughout my career as well as gained a degree in child and youth care with a specialization in child protection. I have also raised my child on my own, who is 30 years of age now and doing well on his journey.
