I am an educated and experienced childcare provider with a variety of fun and educational things I can do with children of various ages! I take a gentle and positive approach with the kiddos, and gain their trust by respecting their boundaries, autonomy, and independence. I promote careful, but ambitious play and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone and try new things at their pace. I also have a BSc in Psychology from UVic with a specialization in Childhood and Adolescence.

Infant Day Care assistant - 6 months - mostly I didn't interact directly with the infants since it was COVID, but assisted with surrounding duties. Behavior Interventionist - provided 1 on 1 therapy to children with verbal and nonverbal Autism and ADHD, from group ages of 3-12yr old. After School Day Care for Elementary school - was a day care staff member for a group of children ages 5&6 with a 2:24 ratio of staff: children. Casual tutor - I have done casual tutoring in Math and Science for a set of twins aged 7, and an 8th grader. Nanny/babysitting - nannied an infant aged 14months; toddlers aged 3&5
