My name is Madison, and I am a 24-year-old student at Lakehead University in the Consecutive Bachelor of Education program. I graduated from York University in June 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Children, Childhood, and Youth Studies. I love being active, learning new things, being creative, and having fun. I am very passionate about working with children and am looking to receive my education degree to begin teaching elementary school. I have experience working with children of all different ages. I am currently completeing my last semester of teacher's college and have complete 3 practicums to date. I worked at a childcare center as an ECA for a year, caring for children from 6 months to 3 years of age. I worked as a live-out nanny for over three years with two different families, caring for children from under 1 to 4 years old. I currently offer online tutoring services for elementary school-aged students in all subjects. I trained as a karate student for 9 years and worked as a karate instructor for 2 years. I also have experience working a co-op placement in a grade 2/3 classroom as a teacher's assistant. I am currently certified in First Aid and CPR training, and I can also provide an updated Vulnerable Sector Check.

I am currently in my second year of the Consective Education program at Lakehead University.
