My name is Alissa and I am 22 years old. Over the years, my volunteer and employment opportunities, as well as my educational studies, have contributed to my passion for working with children. I just graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) in the Early Childhood Studies program. During my program, I have gained in-depth knowledge of child development and how to provide environments that support both children and their families. I have completed my first aid training and have lots of experience working with young children of varying abilities from ages 1-14. I look forward to talking to you :)

ABA Special Education School - Monitor client progress through detailed and accurate data collection. Maintain positive and meaningful parent communication. Keep written records about client sessions, goals, and progress. Childcare Centre - Create safe and nurturing learning environments. Communicate with parents about each child’s specific needs and interests. Clean and sanitize classrooms. Maple Preschool - Assist with child supervision, playtime, crafts, lunch/snack time, etc. Also responsible for general classroom clean up. Maple Community Centre - Supervise and interact with children in the classroom and pool at aqua adventures summer camp. Maple Community Centre Pool - Assistant swim instructor. Children Treatment Network - Provide entertainment for Halloween and Christmas events, including face painting and crafts for children.
