Greetings! My name is Abena. I recently celebrated my 19th birthday and my journey has brought me to Canada. In the grand scheme of life's plans, I have decided to utilize this precious time before I commence my university education in August, to complete my gap year here in Canada. This significant choice accounts for an exciting new chapter in my life. Over the years, I have gathered valuable experience that I believe will be beneficial for me in this new phase of my life. Chief amongst this is babysitting; a task that may seem difficult to some, actually holds some of the most enriching and rewarding experiences for me. My expertise in babysitting was fundamentally honed by taking care of my siblings and cousins, and then gradually extended to encompass other non-relatives too. Looking after the kids within my family circle, I got a first-hand understanding of the responsibilities and duties the role implies. Not only that, it made me realize the importance of different teaching methods for different children, adaptability, and quick problem-solving.
