Hello, I'm Meaghan! I am located in Vaughan, Ontario and am searching for a family to help. My babysitting experience comes from caring for my younger sibling at home, and lunch monitoring primary school students. I have completed the Canadian Red Cross Babysitting training program which has given me the knowledge of caring for children and how to manage First-Aid situations including how to perform CPR. I am able to care for infants and primary school children by creating a safe and enjoyable environment for them. I can also help with tidying up, and making healthy meals or snacks for children. My available hours are flexible during the summer time. I am available for a live-out part-time position, for $15.50 hourly. My own interests include playing guitar, reading, recreational badminton (and other sports), arts & crafts, and baking. I would be more than happy to share any of my interests with children to create a fun babysitting experience for them. Over the last few years I have devoted great amounts of time to child-care...specifically : Lunch Monitoring : - Looked after students aged Kindergarten - Grade 3 during their lunch breaks - Helped students eat their lunches / accompany them - Dressed children in their winter clothing - Accompanied children during their recess Bringing Kindergartens to class - Helped the JK and SK students from the parking lot into their classrooms to get them settled into a school environment - Ensured their safety around cars in the parking space and prevention of getting lost in the school PLAY Leader : - Created a fun environment for children during their breaks - Involved coming up with games to keep students occupied during their recess - Ensured their safety while engaging in sports or physical activities Babysitting sibling : - When I was around 13 years old, I became responsible for looking after my younger sibling after school while my parents were at work - As I got older, those hours increased and I gained more responsibilities such as making snacks, creating fun activities, and assisting in homework
