I am certified teacher and tutor looking for part-time work. Besides tutoring and babysitting I previously worked as an administrative assistant for two businesses, and as a client advisor in banking. I genuinely love working with children, and consider it the most rewarding experience for myself. For this same reason, I am looking to acquire more work as a babysitter/nanny. Some of my strengths include having strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills, being detail oriented, creative, hardworking, punctual, flexible, reliable and trustworthy. Some of my other personal interests include health, wellness and cooking.

Babysitter, 10 years: I have babysat for various families of up to four children, between 10 months and 12 years old. My main responsibilities include preparing and feeding children, playing with them, homework help, diaper changes and helping in the washroom, as well as light cleaning duties (cleaning dishes, laundry, vacuuming, organizing). Tutor, 5 years: I tutor children and adults individually and in groups, between kindergarten and university, in subjects including language, math, science, business and social sciences. Responsibilities include; preparing and creatively delivering curriculum-based lessons to students within the in-home, learning centre and virtual settings, homework and assignment help, exam preparation, working with them to successfully improve organization, time management skills and self confidence, as well as varying and adjusting instruction methods and material to meet student personal learning needs. Newly Certified Teacher: I am a certified teacher with high school qualifications and am currently completing additional special education qualifications.
