Jennifer L.
Originally from Québec, I am fully bilingual in French and English and have been living in Vancouver for the past 4.5 years. My husband is from Vancouver, and we’ve made this our long-term home. By trade, I am a chef, a career that required a strong work ethic, long hours (often 40–60 hours per week), organization, and the ability to stay calm and reliable in fast-paced environments. I’ve since retired from full-time chef work to intentionally move into a role with more balanced hours while continuing to do work that is hands-on and meaningful. I am an active, dependable, and creative person who enjoys crafts, reading, outdoor adventures, travel, and exploring the city and surrounding nature. I’m comfortable being on my feet, keeping up with busy days, and engaging children through play, creativity, and real-world experiences. I have a 21-year-old daughter, and now that I’ve finished raising my own child, I’m excited to bring my experience, patience, and energy into supporting another family. I’m known for my strong work ethic, reliability, and warm, grounded presence.
By trade, I’m a chef, and after many years working long hours in that field, I’m intentionally transitioning into work with more balance while still being hands-on and service-oriented. I have a strong work ethic, I’m proactive, and I take pride in being someone families can rely on and trust. I have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record
