I am a recent UBC Psychology graduate who is currently working part time as a School Age Worker at a Neighbourhood House. I have always been passionate about early child education and development and currently working towards connecting my future career to it. I strongly believe in clear communication with children, letting them explain their feelings and concerns and working together on any conflict resolution and, most importantly, having fun.. I hold a valid First Aid Child Care Certification and with my experience in childcare, I am familiar with any risk/danger protocols.

Through my current position as a School Age Worker at Gordon Neighbourhood House, I learned how to create fun and safe programs that focus on education, arts and crafts, sports, environmental and cultural awareness. This experience made me familiar with safety and risk protocols in a child care environment, as well as learning about caring for children ages 5-10.

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I hold valuable insight into family dynamics, emotional and social protection of children. I had an opportunity to gain extensive knowledge in behavioural, cultural, and social psychology of children.
