Hello! My name is Topaz, a Toronto native who has made her home in the vibrant West End of Vancouver for the past two years. I was initially drawn to Vancouver by a career opportunity in the tech industry and have spent six wonderful years working in this field. However, I've decided to take a break and reconnect with my passions and pursuits, one of which includes providing excellent childcare. My previous work experience includes a successful three-year stint at City of Toronto Summer Camps, where I honed my skills in crafting engaging activities, ensuring the children's welfare, and maintaining a fun and safe environment. I have a knack for interacting with children in the age range of 0-7 years, backed by my impromptu nanny stints for friends here in Vancouver, always met with sparkling reviews. Presently, I'm interested in a part-time live-out nanny position where I look after a maximum of two children aged between 0-7. To support your family, I can take up a variety of roles including light housekeeping, running errands, meal preparation for kids, homework assistance and many more. My broad availability ranges from most mornings, afternoons, evenings to nights from Monday through Friday. Having earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, followed by an MBA degree in 2022, I'm well equipped to assist with homework and foster an educational environment. I worked as camp counsellor for the City of Toronto with children aged 3-5 to start (Tiny Tots Camp) and worked with children aged 7-12. I've also periodically filled in for friends who nanny in Vancouver when/where needed ranging from infants all the way up to 6-7 years old.
