Hello there, I'm Roberto, an 18-year-old Italian international student living in Vancouver. I discovered my passion and talent for caring for children during my time living with a host family on Vancouver Island. Here, I had the chance to care for my host mother's sick friend's daughter and quickly realized my knack for connecting with kids. To further validate this newfound passion, I volunteered at the Comox Recreation Centre, where my responsibilities involved looking after a diverse age group of children, ranging from 4 to 11 years. My time here, marked by dedication and capability, resulted in me winning the Youth Recognition Award from the Mayor of Comox city. While I may not boast years of experience in professional babysitting, my interaction and experience with children have instilled in me a deep love for this job. I am a kind and patient individual who not only enjoys being around children but is also enthusiastic and committed to caring for them. I believe in building genuine bonds with the kids I care for, all while ensuring that I carry out my duties meticulously. I excel at providing educational support too. I fully understand the importance of helping children with their homework, as I was lucky enough to receive this assistance from my own parents in my formative years. My dedication extends to carrying out household chores such as light housekeeping, meal preparation for the kids, laundry, and even walking pets, among others. I am also confident in my ability to care for children with disabilities, thanks to my empathetic nature and my desire to make a difference. I am seeking a part-time, live-out babysitting position and am eager to start at the earliest. As for my work hours, I am flexible and available at various intervals throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and nights. With the chance to work in this field, I am excited to put my love and skills for this job into action. I aim to create an environment that is not only safe and functional for children but also one where they can flourish and thrive.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration at Capilano University.
