My name is Bronwyn and I am a mother of two and a career Nanny. I am seeking a live-out Nanny position where I can contribute to a happy and loving family. I grew up in New Zealand where my sister, Mum and Dad still live. Caring for children is a well-established tradition in our family. From an early age I enjoyed caring for other children and as a teenager I had after-school jobs looking after little ones. After graduating high school, I attended the Nanny Centre, in Auckland, and upon successful completion of their programme was lucky enough to secure an excellent Nanny position with a family on their estate near Wellington. I enjoyed this experience so thoroughly that I realized then that I had found my true calling in child care as a Nanny. After coming to Vancouver I was again fortunate to work for a wonderful Family as live-in Nanny for their young son. They generously welcomed me into their home as one would a member of one’s own family and I cared for their son from a babe-in-arms until well into his primary school years. I find it very gratifying that I played some small part in him becoming the fine young man he is today. Happily, I remain in frequent contact with him and his family who still reside in West Vancouver. In fact, he was the ring-bearer at my wedding! I am now a parent myself and motherhood has given me a fresh and invigorated perspective on my profession and I truly feel that I now have even more to offer as Nanny to the right family. I believe in the importance of play in the overall positive development of a child and also in working closely with parents to help instill the values needed by their children to excel in adulthood. I am a trained career nanny and mother. My most recent job just ended with the child getting into daycare . It was for almost 2 years looking after an infant. Before that I was in a position for 6 years. Starting with one toddler and then caring for new baby as well. I have worked with Nannies on call for years. I enjoy my work as a nanny and find it very rewarding. I have great references, first-aid and CPR, and criminal record check.
