My name is Austyn, I am a 19 year old female. I am a university student attending the University of Ottawa, studying criminal justice. I strive to make a positive change in society making it more peaceful, safe; and fair. My hobbies include playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family, reading/writing, going for hikes, and I absolutely love traveling. Aside from my school aspirations in the criminal field, I love kids and have enjoyed my years of being a nanny. I best interact with kids and communicate with them through patience, and calmness as I feel that atmosphere can lead to the most comfort for the kids, and allows them to feel better understood and heard. My ultimate goal is your child’s safety, wellbeing and happiness. I can ensure this through close supervisor with my full attention; physical and mentally stimulating activities, fun outings (if allowed), and healthy meal preparation, all while maintaining a clean environment in your home. I have been a nanny for the same family for four years. I worked for them full time in the summer, and part time during my school years. I cared for two children ages 3 and 6 when i started. I worked 8-4 monday to friday during my full time season. A typical day for the kids and I included healthy meals, hands on crafts and activities, lots of time outdoors, outings to the local pool, beach, library and or ice cream parlours. I have relocated to Vancouver and unfortunately can no longer nanny for that family, however I love kids and cannot wait to become a nanny again this summer, getting to know you and your family more!
