Hello! My name is Marina and I am a 28 year old childcare worker, located on the Commercial Drive area 😊 The family that I currently nanny for, their son J is 3 years old (4 in April) and we are looking for another family to do a nanny-share with starting mid February! We’re looking for a family with either a 2 or 3 year old to start 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Fridays 8:30am-5:00pm) in mid February or March. J is a really sweet child who loves to read books, use his imagination to play, and loves to go on new adventures outside. Over-all he has a really easy-going temperament and he’s excited to meet a new buddy!! A little about me: -I worked at the Jewish Community Centre from 2015-2023 doing various childcare programs such as being Assistant Camp Director during spring, winter, and summer sessions. I was a substitute assistant in the daycares (ages 2-5), ran an aftercare program for toddlers in the afternoons, and worked in the after school care program for 5 years. -I created strong relationships with lots of the family’s I worked with within the JCC and have done many years of babysitting (part and full time). One family I still babysit every Saturday evening and have been for the last 5 years. -After I left the JCC I went back to school to get my ECE and now have my full ECE license as well as my Infant/Toddler license. -The current families I am with we have been doing a nanny/share since late August/early September 2023. -I love my job so much and am looking to stay in the nanny field long term. I love the bond it creates between me and the children and me and the families. I’m excited to connect and hear from you!
