Hello there! My name is Nicole. I'm a 24-year-old recent Human Kinetics graduate from the University of Guelph, with a minor in Nutrition. I have always been a sport lover and participated in the figure skating team as well as acting as an athletic student trainer for the university's basketball team. Now living in Uxbridge, my interests extend to learning French and trying to master the ukulele.
Coming from a family of five, I'm the eldest and have inherited my parents' passion for teaching. They're both professional educators and their passion has rubbed off on me. I have enjoyed the last eight years working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, at a camp during my high school and university years. This experience also made me confident in working with children with disabilities.
My availability is flexible, extending from Monday to Friday, mornings to evenings. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time assistance, I'm ready to help. My duties can cover a broad range of tasks from cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, preparing meals for kids, transport, laundry (kids or family), bath and dressing assistance to homework help and event planning. I can also adapt to special dietary rules in your household.
Being a certified First Aid provider and trained in CPR, your child(ren)’s safety will always be my topmost priority. Truly, it’s my joy to contribute to the well-being and development of children and I would love to extend my skills and experience to your family. Whether you're in need of a nanny, housekeeper, mother’s helper, babysitter, or tutor, I'm eager to help. My ultimate goal is to make your lives easier and to ensure your home is a safe, nurturing environment for your little ones.
I used to be a babysitter while I was in elementary and high school. I would babysit for families with 1 to 4 children. I was also a live in babysitter for a family when the parents would go away on business trips. I would drive the children to school and their extra curricular activities as well as prepare meals for the family and keep the house tidy. I was also a camp counsellor for 8 years where I worked with children ranging from 2 months old to grade 12.
