Sept 2025: I have taken an early retirement from the Toronto School Board and am looking to do a part time babysitting job that may also include some housekeeping. I love working with kids of all ages and have a long history of doing so. I like to spend quality time with kids indoors and outdoors. I could also do a little tutoring if needed. I have experience with Special Needs kids and welcome those opportunities as well. Hope to hear from you :-)

I like to think that I helped raise thousands of young people during my 18 years of working at the school board. I have also babysat a girl with Down syndrome and worked as a Special Needs Assistant in an all boys Autism classroom. In addition, I taught ESL in Korea to children ages 3 and up, and I taught ESL in Toronto for a couple of years. I enjoy working with children, and I love to babysit and help out other parents if I can. I am a provider for all ages. Since posting on this site, I have cared for an 8-year-old girl and her 11-year-old brother, as well as another family with three little girls ranging from 2 to 8 years old. I enjoy reading stories and helping with bedtime routines. For the past 3 years, I have taken care of a girl who was 11 when I started and is now 14. This position involved being a companion, housekeeper, dog walker, running errands, and generally keeping the household running. I did not take a single sick day in those 3 years. Although the family has moved to another city in Ontario, the mom is eager to provide me with a good reference.

After High school I went to College for General Arts and Science then went into the work force till 1997 when I went back to school for Homeopathic Medicine and got my TESOL certification to teach ESL in South Korea. I never really worked as a Homeopath but the nursing level sciences have been a help in many ways. I do my CPR and First Aid certification every 2 years so its always current. I also have a current CPI (Non violent Crisis Intervention) training.
