I worked in Hong Kong for more than 4 years as a live in caregiver. I have been here in Canada for almost 20 years working as a live in care giver for more than 4 years in one family. Hi employers if you get the chance to read my job description . My name is Marilyn ,I'm from Philippines and I finished the degree of Bachelor Education in my hope place. I worked in Hongkong for one employer for 4 years with 2 kids 2 years old and a new born baby. That was year 2000-2004, then I came here Canada 2004 and I worked with the a nice family with 2 kids 2 years old and new born baby. I worked for them as live -in caregiver for more than 4 years. My duties and responsibilities are taking care of 2 kids , prepare meals , bringing them to the park, reading books and do some light housekeeping. When the kids go to school I drop them and pick them up after school then helping them out with their homework. I do potty train them and teach them how to read and write. After I got my open permit I worked as a live -out caregiver with a very nice family only one child 5monthd old. Sne responsibility with my first employer. At this present I will be finished working with my employer at the end of this month of June due to shortage of work and all their 3 kids are going to school.
