I am a 19-year-old Persian girl raised in Canada, specifically in the vibrant North York area. After graduating from high school, I embarked on my academic journey at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on Kinesiology.
Dance has been a significant part of my life since childhood and continues to be one of my favorite hobbies. Alongside my passion for dance, I have a keen interest in the sciences and thrive on the learning experiences that university offers. I proudly embrace my inner nerd when it comes to delving into scientific concepts and expanding my knowledge.
I bring a diverse range of experience in working with children. I have spent 8 months at Learning It Together as both a tutor and caregiver, providing essential support to children in need. Additionally, I have played a significant role in raising my younger brother for 8 years, honing my caregiving skills and understanding of child development.
In 2022-2023, I gained 1 year of valuable babysitting experience, caring for children from two different families—one with a single child and the other with two children. This experience allowed me to adapt to various family dynamics and cater to individual needs effectively.
Moreover, I served as a dance coach for two summers in the RCBA Dance program. In this role, I not only taught dance but also prioritized the well-being of the children by ensuring they took adequate breaks, had nutritious meals, and enjoyed outdoor activities like visiting the park for sunshine.
My expertise extends to children of all personalities, and I pride myself on being highly flexible and adaptable to different situations and requirements.
