Hello, my name is Cynthia I’m a 22year old student who has obtain a college diploma in Early Childhood Education. I am now furthering my education with obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Studies to eventually become a teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching children ever since a little girl I discovered a love for nuturing young minds finding joy and fulfillment in every interaction I had with children. I was born in Canada with both my parents born in Portugal I’ve had the privilege of learning both English and Portuguese. With both my siblings being in the field of teaching I’ve had the opportunity to continue to learn new things through them. My dream is to continue to make a difference in the lives of children and the importance of fostering a nurturing environment is how to do so.

With many experiences from volunteering in an elementary school right after high school to working in a childcare centre in Vaughn for over 5 years to babysitting for parents in my neighborhood on the weekends. It has been a rewarding journey filled with growth, joy and profound connections.
