I worked as a teacher's assistant at a kindergarten class at Blue Willow Elementary School in Woodbridge for a year, and I learned how to care for young kids by teaching them how to read, doing educational crafts, art for emotional expression, and how to encourage their confidence. In my personal life, I'm an empathetic person who loves to be outdoors! Rain or shine, you can find me on the beltline going for a hike. When I'm feeling lazy, I'm playing video games with my partner of 8 years. I find it fulfilling to care for other people, which it why I volunteered to get groceries for my elderly neighbors during covid when they were most vulnerable. I did this as a volunteer because I feel it is our duty to help those in need if we have the capability. During the day, I work as a People and Culture Coordinator for a remote company that allows me to pick my own hours.

I have experience teaching a kindergarten class, but I haven not been a nanny before. I'm a compassionate and empathetic person looking to help out parents who need after school care. I'm happy to prepare meals based on their dietary restrictions, take them to the park and other fun activities to keep them happy and healthy, and can do some housekeeping for you. I signed up here to work for parents who need some extra help since my job has flexible hours which is not a luxury some parents have.
