Hello! My name is Raquel, a 48-year-old woman from York with an extensive 20 years of experience in child care. Although I was born and raised in Brazil, and my son -- who is now 27 -- is still there, I relocated in my pursuit of providing the best child care services here. My proficiency in English and Portuguese helps me develop a closer relationship with the children in my care and provide them with a diverse cultural learning experience. I am open to Nanny, Babysitter, or Nanny/Housekeeper positions and my availability spans throughout the week from Monday to Saturday. I can work both the morning and afternoon shifts, even extending into the evening hours particularly on Fridays. With my background in First Aid Training and Bachelor's Degree education, I am capable of not only ensuring the safety of your children but also aiding in their cognitive development. Beyond childcare, I am happy to perform duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands or grocery shopping, preparing meals for kids, and doing children's laundry. Despite being a non-smoker and non-driver, I am capable of journeying with or for your family as necessary.
