I am the eldest child of 8 children in my family. I always took care of my younger siblings growing up and helping my mother with feeding, bathing and changing diapers/clothes. This is where my passion for taking care of children stems from and I love to make children happy and laugh. I come from a Somali background and love learning and interacting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds as well. I am also understanding to different family needs and always give a listening ear.

I am a childrens nurse, I always loved taking care of children and pursued this as my life-long career. I am balancing working with sick children in the hospital with caring for and playing with healthy children in my community. I have a calm and compassionate demeanor and connect with with children and families across diverse backgrounds.
