My name is Ese, and I am a 27-year-old female from Nigeria currently studying at Seneca College to become a childcare worker. Growing up, I was always drawn to taking care of children and helping them learn and grow. This passion led me to pursue a career in childcare. My childcare experience was mainly caring for nephews and nieces within the age bracket of 2 to 17 years of age This type of childcare experience made me develop a lot of patience, creativity, and energy for kids. There was always a need to plan activities that are suitable for the different age groups, ensure the children are safe and supervised at all times, and communicate with parents or guardians about any issues that may arise. I pride on the importance of creating a positive and engaging environment for the children, establish rules and boundaries, and encourage healthy habits like nutritious eating and regular exercise.
