Ievgeniia S.
I am a doctor in my late 50s, and I come from Ukraine where I worked in healthcare my entire life - as a paediatrician and sonographer. I loved my job very much because I love working with kids and helping them grow up healthy and happy. In 2022, following the war, I came to Canada and first settled in Montreal, where I worked as a nanny for a lovely 1-year-old boy. I've helped him learn to walk and develop his motor skills, as well as helped his mom with daily chores, meal prep, housekeeping, etc. In October 2023, I moved to Toronto. Since my arrival in Canada, I've kept busy learning English, discovering Canadian culture, and spending time with the Ukrainian community. I really enjoy Toronto, and I look forward to moving and settling there. I have a CPR/First Aid Certificate from the Red Cross, and I can provide two references upon request. As an experienced paediatrician, I am skilled at early development and can offer valuable advice and support when it comes to toddler nutrition, physical and cognitive development, as well as pregnancy and postpartum support.
Professional Experience: I'm a former paediatrician and sonographer. Before moving to Canada, I lived and worked in Izmail (a town in the South of Ukraine, close to the Romanian border). I worked at the Izmail City Central Hospital for 15 years, and most recently at the private clinic called "Vash Doctor" ("Your Doctor"). My responsibilities included delivering medical services to 10-15 patients daily, diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases, as well as leading long-term patient cases. I also had to perform complete range of ultrasound imaging. My job involved daily interactions with parents and kids, not only taking care of their physical health, but also providing emotional comfort and support to the parents and making kids feel at ease in a doctors' office. I love caring for children of all ages (from infants to adolescents), and I also raised two beautiful kids of my own. Most recently, I worked with a 1-year-old boy in Montreal, helping his mom with daily chores, such as cooking and cleaning, as well as with his early development, such as teaching him to walk, playing games, going for walks, etc. As an experienced paediatrician, I am skilled at early development and can offer valuable advice and support when it comes to toddler nutrition, physical and cognitive development, etc. I recently got a CPR/First Aid certification through the Red Cross training, and I can provide two references upon request. I will consider both live-in and live-out positions in the GTA.
