Here’s a little bit about me. I’m 24 years old with a five year old and a 2 year old. My oldest acts as a second mother and is strongly independent, my youngest is a ball of energy, but adores meeting new friends. I’ve been babysitting for 14 years on and off now, as watching children grow into their most incredible future self is a beautiful gift to be given. I’ve currently graduated with a Social Service Worker diploma and will be continuing online studies for Sociology and Psychology in September. I’m certified with CPR and First Aid - this will not need to be updated until September of next year. I enjoy the time I spend with children and how much I learn from them. Children are smart, and I enjoy watching them play. I love when they ask me questions to satisfy their curiosity. I also love when they blurt out thoughts and we have meaningful conversations about them.

My experience has included coordinating daily activities based on the academic stance and ability for each child, monitor behaviour and correct if needed with a gentle parenting approach (no time outs etc, .) Prepared nutritional meals and snacks, assisted with homework, assignments and school projects, accompanied children to parks and remained in attendance for child safety, and I continue to demonstrate empathy and kindness to display positive character traits.
