I am a dedicated and caring Brock student with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development. As an aspiring teacher, I find joy in fostering meaningful connections and supporting the journey through childhood. Volunteering has been a cornerstone of my journey, allowing me to connect deeply with communities and understand the importance of empathy and support. I have been immensely blessed to have had many opportunities to volunteer within my community but also to participate in community outreach programs that work to service various communities across Ontario. In addition to volunteering, I am also very passionate about the arts, I spent most of my free time as a teenage and child engaging in community theatre as well as taking on mentoring roles within theatre companies. Moreover, I spend most of my free time now engaging in art at a more individual level on a quite night in I enjoy painting, scrapbooking, or drawing. I tend to take this passion for art and bring it into my work with children as I find immense joy in sparking creativity and imagination in children through arts and crafts. I am very passionate about time spent outdoors, in my own life I strive to spend as much time outside as possible, from hiking to spending the day at the beach, to building snowmen I try my hardest to create endless opportunities for exploration and adventure a skill that I often bring into nannying. Aspiring to become a teacher, I am committed to providing nurturing environments where children feel valued, inspired, and empowered to discover their passions and potential. With a blend of enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine care for children, I am excited to embark on this journey of growth and learning as a dedicated nanny.

Drawing from a wide range of experiences in childcare, mentoring, and tutoring, I offer a unique blend of skills and a heartfelt dedication to fostering the well-being and development of children. During a fourth month period in the summer of 2021 I had the opportunity to care for two lively boys on a full-time basis. In my role as their nanny, I carefully planned engaging daily activities tailored to their interests. From arts and crafts to outdoor explorations, I aimed to ignite their curiosity and creativity while ensuring a safe environment. Beyond playtime, I assisted with essential tasks such as feeding and bathing. Whether we were preparing healthy meals together or winding down with bedtime stories, I cherished every moment spent with them. In addition to my summer nannying experience, I have had the privilege of babysitting for family friends in my teenage years. Through these opportunities, I honed my ability to adapt to different family dynamics and cater to the unique needs of each child. Building trust and rapport with both children and parents alike has been a rewarding aspect of my journey as a caregiver. Most recently, I have also embarked on a new journey as a tutor. Through personalized guidance and support, I aim to assist students in reaching their full potential and achieving academic success. Lastly, I also have taken on a role as a big sister for the Big Brother Big Sister program in Niagara. Becoming a mentor and role model for young minds has been incredibly fulfilling, as I guide and support them socially and emotionally.
