My name is Kiana, a 19-year-old caring, patient, and enthusiastic student currently in my second year of the Kinesiology program at Brock University. I'm based in St Catharines and looking for a part-time babysitting job as I'm passionate about caring for children. Over the years, I've amassed 3 years of experience in caring for little ones ranging from newborns to nine-year-olds, but I'm open to working with any age group. My journey in childcare kicked off when I was 10, providing occasional babysitting for a friend. In 2019, I stepped up my role by providing part-time care to a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old while their parents worked. My responsibilities grew even more during the Covid-19 pandemic when I cared for 18-month-old twins during the evenings throughout the summer. In terms of availability, I am flexible and can adapt to your needs. I am available every day of the week, be it morning, midday, or evening. Except for Tuesdays as I have class 4:30-6. I also possess a driver's license and have a vehicle available to use on the job, which is handy for any potential school runs or emergencies. Also, rest assured that I am a non-smoker, and I can swim very well. My duties can vary depending on your needs. I can help with light housekeeping, prepare meals for the kids, handle children's laundry as well as bathing, and dressing the little ones. Regarding my qualifications, I have acquired skills and knowledge from First Aid Training, CPR Training, and Certified Nanny Training. I have also completed high school. While I prefer not to relocate or travel extensively for jobs, I am more than willing to obtain a police check for your peace of mind. As a native English speaker and a Canadian citizen, communication won't be a problem. I was in charge of light household chores as well as feeding and entertaining them until 8pm when their parents got home. Babysitting 2020-2021 I babysat 2 18 month old twins part time on evening when parents worked evenings. I was in charge of changing feeding and putting them to sleep.
