I have a background in travel and am now widowed and retired. I like to read, cook and bake, and am very patient and have a sense of humour. I have one daughter, and she has no children. I have a step-grandson who is 9, who lives in Washington state, and I see several times a year as his parents busy schedule permit. He is a sweet boy, an only child and very clever. There is also a special little boy in my life named Charlie, from Langley, who is 7 and the son of a friend of mine. I babysit him from time to time, when needed, and take him out on day trips because I love him and enjoy his company. We have definately bonded and he holds a special place in my heart. I love to bake and cook, am very clean and keep my home the same. I am willing to work part-time or full time and am available immediately. I do not mind commuting to any area of the lower mainland.

Aside from being a mother, I looked after a 5 yr old boy in Langley for a few months. He is now 7 and one of my best friends. We often do things together and I still baby sit on occasion. His father and mother would give me a glowing reference I am sure, if needed.
