Ruth performs all her duties at our home located at 12 – 3109 161 Street, Surrey, BC V3Z 2K4. As the mother of the children, I can attest to Ruth’s important role in their daily care, development, and well-being. Ruth works fixed 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed. Her responsibilities include: • Supervising and caring for the children in our residence. • Bathing and dressing. • Changing diapers. • Planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals for the children. • Overseeing daily routines, including playtime and rest periods. • Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy household environment. • Teaching personal hygiene and appropriate behavior. • Disciplining the children according to parental guidelines. • Performing light housekeeping duties related to childcare. Ruth's initial hourly wage was $20.00, starting from March 19, 2024. On May 4, 2024, her wage was increased to $23.00 per hour in recognition of her excellent work and dedication. She is paid bi-weekly via direct deposit. Based on a 40-hour work week, her current annual salary is approximately $47,840.00. She is also provided with room and board, 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation per year, paid statutory holidays, and is enrolled in mandatory employer contributions to Employment Insurance (EI) and the Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
