My name is Phuntsho (29 years old), and I am from the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan. I am a proud mother of two children, and I moved to Canada in 2023. Since arriving here, I have gained extensive experience in caregiving, childcare, and behavior intervention, working with children with unique needs. • My first role in Canada was as a caregiver for an 8-year-old boy with special needs who used a wheelchair. My responsibilities included diaper changes, meal preparation, feeding, and taking him for walks. • I also worked as a nanny for a 1-year, 3-month-old Hungarian boy. The family was in Canada for three months, during which I cared for him full-time before they returned to Europe. • Additionally, I worked as a housekeeper for an Indian family in Delta, managing household duties efficiently. • I later provided behavior intervention (BI) services for an autistic girl with a rare condition. She often experienced seizures, and I managed her care with attention and compassion. • Following that, I worked as a BI for autistic twins in a team-based environment, where each child was supported by a dedicated caregiver. Before moving to Canada, I also gained valuable experience in Bhutan. I worked as a caregiver for children and served as a tutor specializing in early childhood education. These roles deepened my understanding of child development and taught me how to provide personalized care and learning opportunities for children at a young age. Additionally, I am a proud mother of two energetic boys, aged 4 and 5, respectively, but sadly they are back in my home country. Furthermore, I am a kind and humble person who dedicates their heart and soul to the work they do. I am also a passionate cook who loves to learn about new styles and cuisines.
