I am Amasha and I am from Sri Lanka. I recently moved to Canada with my husband. I am a student at Yorkville University. My major is Supply Chain Management and I have worked for a USA and NZ company for almost 3 years. I have experience handling kids of my sisters but I haven't worked as a nanny or child caregiver as a job but I can assure that I am able to handle kids with love and care.
Dear Parent,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my sincere interest in the child caregiver
position within your family, as advertised. As a dedicated and compassionate student at Yorkville
University, currently studying supply chain, I am eager to contribute my nurturing nature and genuine
care for children to create a positive and enriching environment.
Having recently moved to Canada from Sri Lanka on the 23rd of November with my husband, I am
excited about the prospect of making meaningful connections and contributing to my new community.
While navigating my academic pursuits, I am also motivated by the need to support my family financially.
Consequently, I am seeking a part-time position that not only aligns with my values but also allows me to
pursue a job that I am passionate about.
Currently residing in Surrey, I am thrilled at the possibility of offering my childcare services. I am
committed to providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for your child. I genuinely enjoy
connecting with children and have had hands-on experience in providing childcare for friends and family.
Despite my current lack of CPR certification, I am actively in the process of obtaining it, recognizing its
critical importance in ensuring the safety of the children under my care.
What sets me apart is my innate ability to be in tune with a child's needs, creating a bond based on trust
and understanding. I am a soft-spoken and patient individual, qualities that have proven invaluable in
managing various situations and ensuring a positive experience for both the child and the family.
I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my skills and passion for childcare align with the needs
of your family. Thank you for considering my application. I am excited about the possibility of
contributing to the well-being and development of your child.
