Hi, my name is Joann, 43, married and mother of three boys. I have a bachelors degree in social educational care work and have worked my whole life with children, youth and adults. We’re in the process to obtain permanent residency. I followed the social criminal justice program at Okanagan College in Penticton, however I could stop and changed my permit into a work permit which I prefer because living in this beautiful place is expensive. I am reliable and committed to my work. I am caring and love to help others. I have a son with special needs and are used to lift and bath him. I have years of experience working with children, however the immigration has put a condition on my work permit which forbid me to work in child care. I have to file paperwork to remove this restriction and I am currently in the process of doing that.
