As a Social Service Worker specializing in Children's Mental Health, I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds and with different physical and mental needs across a wide array of professional roles. I strive to allow the kids' interests to dictate our activities. Spending time outside with children is incredibly important to me, although I understand that some days require quieter indoors activities. In this job, genuine connection is key to understanding what each child needs to feel heard, seen, and loved and going with the flow to ensure those fluctuating needs are met with love and open arms. In addition to taking care of many regular home management duties, I am open to discussing your family's needs. I have cared for children in many different capacities through out my life. I have been a nanny for three families, providing focused, compassionate and educational care. I have taught children of all ages theatre and self expression for twelve years. This is where my passion for working with children and youth truly developed. I went on to become a Cert.
