I have had experience working as a nanny taking care of a 16 month old twin girls while I was studying in Halifax for Youth Ministry. I am currently working part time in child care at the YMCA in St. Catharines and am a part time Youth Minister. My ability to work and communicate well with people would contribute to my success in a caregiver environment with children. I have and am currently volunteering in different programs with children such as coaching kid’s ball hockey, the youth group at the church for 8 year old boys, and vacation Bible school. My skills, caring, and compassionate personality give me the ability to fit the necessary requirements for this position. I have experience in home daycare settings preparing craft materials, activities and games, supervising children, and preparing meals. I had the opportunity to travel to El Salvador for a mission trip where we set up activities for children, built five homes, and spent time at a local orphanage. I am passionate about what I do because I love working with children.
