I am a reliable, honest, responsible, and caring person. I love being able to work with children in different caregiver areas. I enjoy going for walks, swimming, and playing at the park. I have experience working with children from ages newborn - 14 in different daycare's, school placements, and relief centres. I have a valid certificate in CPR - AED - C and a police vulnerable sector check that was completed in the last year. I have my own transportation that will be able to get me to where I need to be on time, I do not smoke, and I am comfortable with pets. I am currently enrolled in my third year starting in September of the Child and Youth Care programme and am really excited to be able to use my knowledge in my everyday interactions.

Summers of 2011 - 2014 - Worked as a volunteer camp counsellor with children aged 3 - 7. Created fun activities for them to participate while ensuring they were safe at all times. 2015 - 2016 - Worked as a babysitter for a family with 2 kids aged 7 and 9. Participated in games, hygiene routines, and homework help while ensuring I was being the best role model possible. 2017 - School Co-op at daycare centre working with children aged 1 - 9. Participated in before school and after school programmes for school aged children and created fun activities for preschool students and toddlers. 2019 - Summer Residential Counsellor working with children aged 7 - 14. Participated in trip events with children while ensuring they were safe at all times.

I am currently enrolled in my third year of the Child and Youth Care Programme and will be starting in September.
