I grew up playing sports- which pushed me to work with others and to be very interpersonal. Due to this, I believe that my career aspirations lie in a relational or social area. Not so much a customer service job but connecting with people in an area of mental health or social support. I have found working alongside children to be a great way of using my skills. I really enjoy connecting with people, especially children. I believe this stems from my early placement in sports and continuing engaging in high level sports for 18 years my life. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 14 from retail to food-service. I’ve been a nanny/babysitter since I was 13. I have a niece (3 y/o) and a nephew (1 y/o) that I absolutely adore and I’ve nannied/babysat for many years.

Have had multiple babysitting/nannying jobs. Had the opportunity to teach children with learning disabilities how to skate (aged 4-10). Currently going into fourth year of Child and Youth Studies. Have a 3 year old niece and 1 year old nephew I have lived with in the past and had the opportunity to care for.
