My name is Grace, I am a 24-year-old woman based in Spruce Grove. I have spent 12 years working with children and this has evolved into a fulfilling passion for me. I trained as a Health Care Aid at Norquest College, having experience working in long-term care for the Good Samaritan Society. During my schooling, I provided in-home support for a family with several children, some whom had cognitive and physical disabilities, which only heightened my affection and passion for working with children. I transitioned to a full-time nanny role for a family with two children, one of whom had autism, and served them for over four years. Unfortunately, my services were no longer needed when the youngest entered full-time schooling. Hence, I eagerly look forward to another chance to work with children either on full- or part-time basis. As a seasoned nanny, I am confident in performing various duties like cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, preparing meals for kids, doing children's laundry, as well as helping them with homework. I am comfortable adhering to any special dietary rules and can also do additional tasks like dog walking and pet care. My experience, coupled with my CPR and First Aid training, equip me to work with children of all ages, right from infants to teenagers. In terms of working hours, I am available from mornings to evening, Mondays through Fridays. The Live-Out arrangement is what I prefer and I am open to working long term. I started babysitting when I took a babysitting course at 12 and made all of my money that way when I was younger, for 3 years I looked after 2 elementary school age children every day after school, but I have had experience babysitting children ranging from infant age to school age. I have worked as a full-time nanny for just over four years, with that job ending recently (worked for that family from June 2021- August 2025) I am skilled in creating and engaging with the children in various activities they enjoy as well as over 5 years experience working with children with both complex physical and cognitive needs.
