Jeanelle A.
My name is Jeanelle and I am a fourth year university undergraduate student at Simon Fraser University. I study health sciences but I am planning to become a teacher and hopefully a principal in the future. I love working with kids and seeing them grow to their full potential. I have many years of experience in child care/teaching, that is, I most of my jobs are related to my career of interest. For example, I was a swim coach for my old swim club (Richmond Rapids Swim Club) for 4 years and then I was a lifeguard/swim instructor for the city of Richmond for 5 years. Currently, I am working as a before and after school care worker at two Richmond community centres (Cambie/West Richmond) and in an elementary school (Florence Nightingale) in East Vancouver). I also have volunteer experience working in a kindergarten classroom at St. Pauls Elementary School in Richmond. In addition, I have taken care of my nieces and nephews who are a couple months to a couple years old. I am a very enthusiastic individual and I love helping around the house. I eat healthy and I am very active where I try to exercise every day at the gym.
I have experience working with children ages 2 years old to 12 years old. I have taught swimming lessons to all ages where I have improved their swimming skills making them successful swimmers. I am currently working as a before and after school care worker and tutor.
