I am an energetic, passionate, kind, and hardworking person who always puts the best needs of my students and kiddos first. I love planning crafts, activities, and outings for children to enjoy. Speech/communication development is one of my specialties and I love to emphasize the importance of literacy with lots of reading and story telling. I am familiar with Montessori and Waldorf teachings, as well as provincial guidelines for early childhood education. As for my personal life, the most important thing is my little, senior, cavalier king charles spaniel named Winnie. She is my shadow and we have adventured all around North America together! In my down time I also enjoy sewing and hand embroidery (hobbies passed down from my grandmother), as well as watching movies and reading.

I have an honours bachelor’s degree in child and youth studies and child development with a minor in linguistics (specializing in communication disorders and speech development in children). I have experience working in the daycare setting as a preschool teacher caring for 16+ 2-4 year olds; planning activities that benefit cognitive and physical development. I have a passion for providing the best environment in which children can thrive and grow!
