Cecelia S.
I am a 47-year-old experienced nanny named Cecelia, living in Pickering. I am proud to say that I have more than ten years of childcare experience, during which time I have worked with families in both Hong Kong and Canada. I am bilingual, fluent in English and Tagalog, and am a mother to a 13-year-old daughter. I bring my personal understanding of the intricate demands of caring for a child to my professional life, emphasizing not only safety but also a nurturing environment echoing with positivity, dedication, and optimism. My background is as diverse as the families I have served. I am an efficient cook owing to my culinary arts education from George Brown College, capable of crafting delightful and nutritious meals catered to your kids. Additionally, I am a skilled household manager, adding value to my services with tasks such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, children's laundry, and more, essentially providing an extra pair of hands around your home. I am certified in both CPR and First Aid and also hold an ECA license. My professional journey in childcare has allowed me to work with children across a wide age range, from newborns and toddlers right up to adolescents. What adds to my portfolio is my ability to work effectively with children with disabilities. My services are available on weekdays, from morning until midday, for both full-time and part-time roles. I am open to taking on various childcare-related positions like a nanny, mother's helper, babysitter, or nanny/housekeeper, whichever best fits your family's needs. Your child's wellbeing is my priority. As a childcare professional and a mother, I understand that children require individualized care and attention. My services come wrapped in warmth and affection, promising to make your child feel loved and valued. If you are interested and wish to know more about how I can offer assistance, please feel free to ask for references and further details about my services. Looking forward to possibly serving you and adding joy to your child's experience of growing up.

Keep them busy to (educational toys)play, crafts and arts and reading books. Give them first aide for minor injuries or medications(for asking permission from the parents for medications). For the toddlers and preschoolers, everyday we make one crafts and arts. Minding and teach them good manners. Taking to the park/play grounds, depends in the weather. After my live-in caregiver job, I worked in several familys (maybe more than 4-5 families for less than 2-3 years in one family).
