Greetings, Allow me to formally introduce myself - my name is Ollie . I am not from Peterborough but have made it my home over the past 3 years. One of my significant passions revolves around spending quality time with children, regardless of their age group. I take immense joy in discovering their interests, engaging with them, and building connections that stretch beyond the usual mentor-mentee relationship. My interactions span a broad dimension of age groups, with each bringing its own spectrum of experiences and learnings. Additionally, my patience and gentle demeanor, aspects that have frequently been highlighted by those around me, make it easier for me to bond with children. This comes in handy while doing what they love and exploring a multitude of activities together. My fondness for wide open spaces and the great outdoors reflects itself in my summer activities. Additionally, with a solid background in tutoring and helping my younger siblings with their school work, I'm more than equipped to extend that service if need be. I am the oldest sibling of my family and grew up taking care of my two younger siblings, there is a 4 year age gap and a 7 year age gap. I have always had a nurturing characteristic, since I was old enough to babysit for friends and family I would. Once I was old enough to volunteer at the Overnight camp(16) where I grew up, I was there and was leading kids in activities and making food and cleaning ect. After graduating High School I was able to obtain a position working for the High school as a tutor and supporting kids to success. I have since worked at Trent Excalibur Summer Camp, though I do miss being able to connect with kids over a longer period of time.
