I am from St. Catharines Ontario where I have much experience babysitting neighbours, family friends and taking care of my younger siblings as well as my nephews. I am currently studying Second Language Teaching and Music at the University of Ottawa and live in the Rockcliffe Park area. I love spending time with children and am excited to become an elementary school teacher. I am open to helping tutor children, preparing meals, running errands, picking up/dropping off children, as well as house hold chores and more. I am an energetic, outgoing person who lovers to be active and outside away from the electronics as much as possible. I am a volleyball player who lives for music. Music and languages are a big part of my life and I love to spread my knowledge with anyone interested. I also love animals, I am completely comfortable with pets and could say I am a bit of a dog whisperer and cat lady. I hope to find a great match with a family to become a full time Nanny this May 2014- August 2014 and potentially the summers to follow. From 2011-2013 I babysat for my neighbours every morning and helped prepare breakfast and the children get ready to catch their bus. I would also babysit these two children from time to time and help prepare for bed, help with house hold chores once the children are asleep and prepare meals. I have experience with all ages including infants as I have two young nephews, 3 years old and 10 months old, as well as triplet sisters who I have helped take care of and watched them grow as they are now 12 years old. Currently, I am part time babysitting an 18 month old girl who I play educational games with, prepare meals, go through wake up and bed time routines as well as nap time routines and house hold chores when she is sleeping. I also occasionally walk their dog while the parents are getting ready to leave. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I am First Aid and COR with AED certified for adults and children (including infants) and feel comfortable using my skills if and when necessary without hesitation. Safety comes first.

I am currently in my second year at the university of Ottawa where I major in Second Language Teaching and minor in Music. I hope to become a teacher at the elementary school level after I complete my bachelors degree and teachers college after.
