I am a single mom of three amazing boys. I am very self motivated and enjoy challenges. I have been self employed for the past several years; Working with seniors and children for over 20 years as well as group homes and special needs. I have many interests that vary from music and arts to nature walks and fishing. I am a very upbeat, energetic and positive individual with a very well rounded demeanour. I obtain extensive experience in long term care, day trips with elders for social outings, in addition to child care and housekeeping. I am looking to continue working with the elderly. I have been working as a companion for eight years now. My experience varied from at home care to lond term care. Most of my clients had some form pf dementia. I would work together with family and staff in the best interest of the client. I would also take clients out in the community to shop, for doctors appointments or just to get them out.
