Hello, my name is Ariane. I am a student at the University of Ottawa in Criminology and Women's studies. I was born and raised in Montreal. I moved to Ottawa a year ago to work as a Page for the House of Commons. Like many, I have my training for babysitting and I have been babysitting for years now. I am looking to work in this field because I love kids and considering the current global situation, I have a lot of free time. I am fully trilingual and I am currently learning Mandarin and Portuguese. When I was younger, my parents hired a Mexican woman to take care of my sisters and I. We had the opportunity to learn Spanish, thanks to her. I want to give other kids the same opportunity I had by teaching my languages to the while helping the parents juggle their tight schedules. I believe that my young age is an advantage in the job. I connect easily with kids and have a lot of energy. I am a good cook and an even better multitasker. I have been babysitting for about 7 years now. I mostly take care of kids between ages of 2 and 7. I can do basically anything. I like to take the kids out to the parc and play. I cooked and cleaned for past families and I have done bath and bed time quite often. I have never had any accidents, but I have had the first aid classes and participated in my high school's health team for three years.

I am currently completing my joint honours in Criminology and Women's studies. I study full time, with five classes per semester. Next semester my classes will be online. I am starting my third year in my program.
