My name is Keerit and I am UBC student. I first gained experience working with children when I was 14 year old as a volunteer at a local community centre --- and I've loved it ever since! Some facts about me: - I am fluent in English, Punjabi, and French - I attended a montessori school when I was little - I am very active and spent 7 years practicing soccer, swimming, figure skating and boxing in my childhood - I love learning (and tutoring kids!) - In my free time I love to bake

I have many years of experience volunteering for children in after school program and at community centres. In these roles I organized activities to ensure the children were engaged, prepared snacks after school, and tended to their needs in all matters. I also have over 3 years of experience tutoring children (either one-on-one or in groups of 4) where I effectively divided my attention to ensure that everyone was doing their assigned tasks. Furthermore, I am eldest daughter of three; growing up I was often left responsible of my little brother and sister while my parents were busy at work.
