Hi there, I'm Cara and I'm excited about the possibility of being your part-time nanny starting in October (although this timeline is flexible for the right family). I've been taking care of kids for 13 years and have experience with children of all ages - from babies to school-age kids. I've also handled school drop off and pick up. I previously worked at Sparetime Clubhouse, a daycare in Vancouver, and volunteered at the Sparetime Treehouse preschool. I'd be happy to give you a reference from my time at the daycare. I absolutely love spending time with kids and making it a blast for them. We can play games, do cool science experiments, bake yummy treats, have healthy snacks, hang out at parks, and dance like nobody's watching. I've got a bunch of fun indoor and outdoor activities up my sleeve that I've enjoyed doing with the kids I've cared for. I'd be happy to chat more about them when we meet up. I do have my own car, so getting around is no problem. I'm also totally comfortable using your car or public transportation if that works better for you.
