My name is Lexi and here's a little bit about me. My favorite things to do with my time is catch up with my family, go for nature walks/hikes with my dog, listen to jazz and blues, and learn new skills. I am very bubbly and charismatic by nature and love connecting with people. I like to laugh, crack jokes, play chess and other games, and boost the people around me. Now to be a little more specific: I have a high level of hygiene and cleanliness and love keeping a tidy home. My ideal outcome after cleaning and organizing is a hotel like refresh complete with freshly made bed, diffuser with essential oils, and polished bathroom hardware. I enjoy healthy cooking and baking. Animals and going for walks. And am exceedingly efficient with time and errand running. I am a very open minded easy going individual and focus on the brighter side of life. I pick up new things fast and am always open to improvement.

It has been a little while since I had any formal childcare experience. My last time working in a childcare role was a few years ago and I was working in an on-call role and helped with morning routines, getting to school, and then pickups and going to karate after school. I lived quite close to my last family so I would also pop in if mom (single mother) needed a night out or went away for a few days on a work trip. The children at the time were 5 and 11. Two adorable boys who loved to play computer games, listen to music, and laugh at funny videos on YouTube. Prior to that I had fulfilled a similar role with a family from England that had two young girls. One was 4 and the other was 7. It was mostly evenings and weekends and the odd time the mother needed to attend to an appointment she couldn't take her children to.

My education is likely irrelevant but it would tell you a bit about who I am. I studied fashion design in college here in Vancouver and also abroad in Italy for a year. I have also taken a children's CPR and first aid course.
