Hello, I'm Jellaine, a 29-year-old woman based in North Vancouver. I may not boast of enormous professional experience in childcare but what I lack in experience, I make up for in dedication and enthusiasm. I am no stranger to looking after children, as I volunteer as a Sunday School teacher at our local church handling more than 10 children aged between 3 and 10 years. Moreover, during my college days in the Philippines, I used to take care of my young cousins whenever their parents were away. I am available to start work immediately and looking for part-time nanny or babysitter employment. My availability is predominantly in the evenings during weekdays plus I can do morning, mid-day, and evening shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Alongside the usual childcare responsibilities, I am happy to perform a variety of domestic tasks including cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, laundry and pets care. I can also assist children with homework and adhere to their special dietary rules. However, please note that as I don't drive, I won't be able to undertake duties that require driving. I am fluent in English and Tagalog and am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, within the age range of 3-10 years. I am a non-smoker and competent swimmer, thus, your child's safety is ensured. Additionally, I am equipped to work with children with disabilities. I have a Bachelor's Degree and my preferred living arrangement is on a live-out basis. I am willing to travel for work but I cannot relocate due to personal commitments. Although I do not have a police check at the moment, I am comfortable obtaining one if required. I don't have an experience in baby sitting but I took care of my 4 cousins back in that Philippines whenever their parents are away. I am always volunteering in our church as a Sunday school teacher so I know how to handle childrens.
