Hello, I'm Paola, a recent university graduate and a dedicated child caregiver from Newmarket. I have 3 years of childcare experience which includes working as a daycare assistant at a home daycare, and providing after-school care to an 8-year-old girl. I'm a natural when it comes to kids as I've had experience dealing with them my whole life. I have a Bachelor's degree, First Aid certification and CPR training. I can also provide a police check and/or vulnerable sector check which I already had to get for my day job. I would happily engage your children in age-appropriate activities, assist with their homework, and indulge in some fun baking sessions or interactive arts and crafts projects. I’m also fluent in English and Spanish. I understand that life can be busy, so I offer services like light housekeeping, running errands, and pet care. However, please note that my cooking skills are limited to preparing simple meals, or snacks for children and reheating pre-cooked meals. I maintain a smoke-free lifestyle and am a competent swimmer with previous instructing experience that can come in handy if you have a pool. Currently, I am looking for an after-school and weekend position, but will be available for Full-Time employment from mid-June. I also can make accommodations for 1-2 mornings a week in addition to evenings if you need more hours before June. I can start immediately and I'm comfortable dealing with a maximum of two children from any age group, newborns to 10 years and above. Can consider 3 if they’re all old enough to be in school. Possessing both a driver's license and a vehicle, transportation is no constraint. My preferred arrangement is Live-Out, either as a Nanny, Nanny/Tutor, Mother's Helper, or a Babysitter.
